The Caretaker - Deleted Scenes/Forgotten Dreams (2xLP - 2007)
The Caretaker has abandoned darker and hard to grasp memories in favour of an altogether warmer journey which upon exposure invades your very own core being. This is a very personal album for the listener, pre-soul music from a bygone era which will attack your senses in a comfortable/uncomfortable way. There is no tracklisting, you are encouraged to find your own way through the release searching for your own reference points. A very important artifact and document, an album for personal introspection. Your own personal and individual soundtrack. Mastered and cut by the legendary Berlin Duplates and Mastering team, set for release on Belgian based We/me Le Disque and featuring artwork by Guy Denning. Cut at low volume to allow for additional stylus crackle to form part of each release over a period of time.

The Caretaker - a stairway to the stars (2001)
On this second release we find The Caretaker building ballrooms for his tracks, and then populating them with the ghosts of aristocratic dancers of days gone by. The band is somewhere in the back while hallowed spirits wander back and forth in slow motion, never breaking stride amidst a hazy ambient atmosphere. Everythng building nicely for the final two tracks which sound almost heavenly and spiritual, recalling masters of soundtrack work such as Angelo Badalamenti. Released to immense critical acclaim.

The Caretaker - theoretically pure anterograde amnesia 6xCD (2005)
Those who suffer from 'theoretically pure anterograde amnesia' will still be able to recall memories laid down before the onset of anterograde amnesia, but will exist in a transient world where anything beyond their immediate attention-span disappears permanently from their consciousness. Where once the Caretaker’s music seemed to recall an imaginary past, all such memories have faded. It is now the present, the vapour of here and now, which is crippling, fearful, and sinister. The ballroom music of yore has been supplanted by a frazzle of static, fuzz, and chasms of atonal doom. Possibly this is the definitive Caretaker release and will appeal to those who enjoy the isolationist output of William Basinski and Brian Eno.
